You all know we LOVE KiwiCo! KiwiCo is an incredible brand that sends monthly learning activity crates to children of ALL ages! KiwiCo is designed by experts and even tested out by real kids before arriving to your door. All the learning activities in each crate follow the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Method which helps children learn new things while having fun. KiwiCo inspires children’s creativity and by using the STEM Method and strive for children to see themselves as scientists, artists, and makers.
With each monthly crate comes a different theme, all the items you need to carry out the learning activities, an easy to read instructional manual, and their Imagine! Magazine which fosters the crates theme with addition learning activities children can do.
Obviously I think this is a great gift option for any child or teen in your family! It works great too to keep the learning alive after school, weekends, or during holiday breaks.
You can use my code BABYBOY to receive your first KiwiCo crate for FREE! Just pay the $4.95 for shipping or $9.95 for international shipping.
Over the Summer I found this cute ABC magnet tablet at a boutique toy store in San Francisco and I almost bought it for Mila! I decided to pass and then found it on Amazon for cheaper than it was priced at the toy store. I just love this so much especially since Mila is working really hard on learning how to write letters right now. They also have a numbers version too that Santa might grab last minute for Mila too ;)
By using arrows and small magnet beads this ABC tablet helps children learn how to write upper case letters. Children simply use the magnetic pen and trace the letter. As they trace the letter the small magnet bead pops up. It is so fun and oddly satisfying! Afterwards you push the small beads back into the tablet and can start again. (The magnetic beads don’t come out of the tablet) We love this learning toy and since it arrived Mila can sit for a while practicing. It is also very light and can fit in Mila’s travel backpack which is awesome! I love this thing so much, if you have a preschooler this is a must have!
Mila recently was sent this Disney Bedtime Adventure box as a gift and I was really impressed with it! I think it would make a perfect gift. Especially for little ones who might have trouble with night time. This gift is also really convenient for parents and gift giving. You can choose how often the boxes arrive on your doorstep! Inside the box is everything your child needs to enjoy a relaxing evening and establish a fun, yet calming bedtime routine! Inside the Disney Bedtime Adventure Box comes; Disney pajamas, Disney storybook, story inspired stickers, bedtime activity cards and a reward chart. Pictured here is the Deluxe Disney Bedtime Adventure Box which includes everything mentioned above plus; 2-3 additional treasures that may include a pillow, blanket, towel, bath toy, or plush. (The deluxe option is a bit more in cost) Also, you can choose the bedtime box theme, pajama sizes etc. They make it easy for parents and gift givers!
Every year we always get Mila things she can add to her coloring/craft bin. I found these cute dot markers and thought they’d be so fun! It is totally different than using regular markers and inspires some new artwork for Mila. I like how thick and round they are, perfect for little hands. I’ve been laying down a large piece of craft paper at the kitchen table and Mila dots away while I do laundry or dishes. These markers are a total no brainer and will make a cute stocking stuffer!
To be honest, these Creatable World characters are for ages 6+ but, Mila loves dressing these characters and has had a really great time with them so far! These are unlike anything I’ve ever seen! Children can customize literally everything and make their character look any which way they want. Each Creatable World Kit has 100+ looks, children start with a blank canvas and can mash up looks however! They are also available in multiple skin colors and can be for both boys and girls. Honestly these are so cool. If you have a little one who likes creating their own characters and or maybe wants a doll that looks more like them, check out Creatable World!
Olaf Convertible Fleece Pillow + Blanket
Last on our quick gift list is this cute Olaf Fleece blanket. It starts as a pillow and then kids can pull out a cozy blanket. We are big time Olaf fans in our home, but these convertible fleece pillow/blankets are available in a few other Disney character options too! Mila likes to bring this out for family movie nights or cozying it at bedtime. It will also come in handy for travel! This would make a great Christmas Eve gift too if your family does that.
Disclaimer - A few of these items were gifted to us (KiwiCo Crate, Disney Bedtime Box, Olaf Fleece, Creatable World Kit) though after playing/using them for a few weeks we wanted nothing more than to share them with you as I thought you’d enjoy to learn about them. Some of these links are affiliated, however all opinions are my own. I’d never share anything with you all that my family doesn’t whole heartedly love and believe in! I hope you enjoy shopping these fun, affordable gift ideas!
