Blueberry Muffin Smoothie

Happy Monday! We are kicking this week off in a deliciously healthy with Blueberry Muffin Smoothies. While I’d 100% rather eat an actual blueberry muffin complete with a yummy crumble topping … this smoothie will cater to that craving. Not to mention it is healthier for you. It is so simple and my kids love it. We can all agree that smoothie mornings are pretty great. Messy but great!

The girls and I were recently gifted these RAD cups by Stojo and they are become our Official Smoothie Cups. They can house hot or cold drinks and come complete with a sip lid and a straw. I like that they fold down into a compact size for easy storage. They girls like the big straw and they each have their own color ;) I’ve linked them HERE if you want to check them out!

Look at the ingredients it takes to make our Blueberry Muffin Smoothie. So simple! I suggest you keep frozen fruit at the ready in your freezer. While regular blueberries would work fine here, using frozen ones will make for a more thick smoothie texture. We also love using oat milk for this smoothie because it heightens that oat flavor that helps us trick our minds into thinking we are eating a blueberry muffin ;)

You’ll need; 1 cup Frozen Blueberries, 1/4 cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt, 1/2 cup Oat Milk, 1/4 cup Old-Fashioned Oats, 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract. *Optional a drizzle of honey for more sweetness!

Topping your smoothies is a great way to add more texture + nutrients. I love adding a teaspoon of hemp seeds, bee pollen, chia seeds, or flax seeds. You could, of course, add these to the blender too! But I like them on top sort of like sprinkles!
