Meet Our Halloween Tree
Meet our tiny Halloween tree that makes a giant statement in our living room. She may be short and slender, but this dark girl is a Skeleton Queen! I bought this black tree last year when I felt as large as a house, pregnant with Maya. I was feeling down to be honest as I normally do around Ryan’s birthday. It wasn’t even October yet and I knew putting together a Halloween tree would brighten my spirits. I was right! The second it was delivered I felt so excited. Mila and I spent a couple weeks gathering ornaments and spooky things to decorate our new Halloween tree with. It has since become one of my most favorite things and I’ve been looking forward to putting her up again the moment she got packed away last year.
The time has come! Typically every year Halloween decor gets put up the first week of September. I truly can’t help myself. October + Halloween are my most favorite (Ironic since I don’t even enjoy scary movies) and decorating my house spooky-like is my jam! This year was a record for me though, I had most of my living room decor up before the end of August! Though 2020 has been such a crap year, anything goes at this point.
Meet our Halloween tree! Let me know if the comments which ornament is your fav! This year she wears a skeleton on top and I added a fun skeleton hand clawing its way out. If you hadn’t noticed, we have a Nightmare Before Christmas/Disney’s Haunted Mansion theme going on. Mila loves it, I’m sure Ryan thinks it is awesome. Maya keeps trying to snag the ornaments. Things are spooky and really good at the moment.
“Happy Halloween Everyone!” she says two months too early ;)
