Pesto Pasta Chips

 

Who would have thought, PASTA CHIPS could be a viral snack that everyone has to try at least once!? I couldn’t have guessed it either. To be honest, I was so skeptical about these. Last year these Pasta Chips ran rampant on TikTok and I had to test out the recipe … mostly so I could let you know if they are worth the hype or not. But also because I was curious! Turns out, they are crisp and flavorful. Which is exactly what you want when craving a snack. BUT are they worth it?!

My girls loved them more than me. I added pesto and Parmesan to make them extra flavorful. I say these are perfect for a family gathering or game day snack! Pesto Pasta Chips


 
 

Ingredients

3 tbs Pesto

2 tbs Parmesan Cheese

2 tsp Chili Flakes

3 cups Pasta (small pasta works best like; bowties, penne, or rotelle)

Makes 2-3 Cups Of Chips


 
 

Directions

Step 1: Start by cooking your pasta in salted boiling water. Once cooked, drain and pour into mixing bowl.

Step 2: Add the pesto, Parmesan and chili flakes to the pasta and toss until all the pasta is coated.

Step 3: Spread the seasoned pasta evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment or a silicone baking mat. Be sure no pasta is overlapping each other.

Step 4: Bake the pasta at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. The edges of the pasta noodles should be golden brown.

Step 5: Let the pasta cool and they will continue to crisp up as they cool.

Step 6: Ready your favorite sauce for a dip and enjoy!
